Photographs from field trips to Skallelv and Bjørnevatn in East-Finnmark druing a residency at Vadsø Kunstforening in May 2022. Text inspired by J.J. Cohen’s Stone: an ecology of the inhuman (2015), visits to Harvard Museum of Natural History and my grandmother’s university curriculum in geology from the mid-1900s.
First part of the project “Mountains & Rocks (Følelser for fjell)” (2022-) developed during a workshop with The Greenhouse - Center for Environmental Humanities at the University of Stavanger, November 2022.
