two days at sea (2014)
Leporello book
18 pages
26x19cm folded, 26x170cm unfolded

A collection of all the photographs of the horizon taken on a two day voyage onboard the tall ship Christian Radich August 2014. Analogue negatives scanned and inkjet-printed on double-side paper, folded into a leporello. It has an odd number of pages, when leafing through it never ends. The last page is the first page of the back. The book was installed on a pedestal painted the same colour as the floor when exhibited at Galleri Monitor in Gothenburg in 2014, to create a feeling of the book coming up from the ground. The pedestal was slightly larger than the book folded, but unfolded the book would have no support in the pedestal - thus becoming difficult to handle. The book is an intimate space and creates a contrast to the vastness of the Sea.

Installation view from Galleri Monitor, Gothenburg 2014.
